My grandfather was a respected realtor, serving first in Clermont and later in Leesburg throughout the 1950s to 1970s. His passion for real estate inspired me to follow in his footsteps, pursuing a career in the industry alongside my work in education. I am a proud graduate of Leesburg High School, Lake-Sumter Community College, and the University of Florida. After a 30-year career as a public-school teacher and coach, I retired in 2007. My love for sports extended beyond coaching, as I officiated Florida high school baseball and football for 23 years and have been a lifelong athlete—competing in handball, tennis, racquetball, golf, and over 100 10K races.
